Companies can update their wireless earbuds with reliability and extended features rather than making major changes across generations. Sennheiser has achieved this with their Momentum True Wireless 4. The fourth-generation earbuds offer excellent sound quality, revamped Bluetooth technology, support for Bluetooth LE Audio, and a battery longevity tool. However, not all users may benefit from these upgrades.
The design of the Momentum True Wireless 4 is similar to the previous model, with a new copper/black color option. The earbuds come with extra ear tips and stabilizer arcs for a better fit. The company has also enhanced dust and moisture protection with an IP54 rating.

The Momentum True Wireless 4 supports Bluetooth 5.4, preparing them for future updates like LE Audio and Auracast. Snapdragon Sound offers enhanced audio quality, especially for Android users. A battery protection mode prevents overcharging, prolonging the earbuds’ lifespan.
Regarding sound quality, the Momentum True Wireless 4 maintains Sennheiser’s reputation for exceptional sound. The earbuds deliver detailed, warm sound with great clarity and bass. Users can adjust the sound profile using a 5-band EQ and save custom presets.
The ANC feature automatically adjusts to the environment for an immersive listening experience. Six microphones handle calls with good quality, but not perfect. The ANC struggles with certain sounds and voices.
The battery life of the earbuds is rated at seven hours with ANC on, extendable to 30 hours with the case. The quick-charge feature provides an hour of use in eight minutes. The earbuds offer excellent sound quality and advanced features, making them a strong contender in the market.
