Today’s Stock Market Update: Dow Takes the Lead While Nvidia and Tesla Drag Down Nasdaq

The Invesco QQQ Trust slumped 0.5%, while the Innovator IBD 50 ETF bumped up 0.2%. Investor sentiment data showed bullish forecasts rising and bearish sentiment dropping. The 10-year Treasury yield and crude oil prices rose. Gold shares gained back losses, while Bitcoin’s price was over $73,300.

Nvidia and Tesla stocks were among the notable movers. Southern Copper and Freeport-McMoRan saw gains, while Cava Group and Owens Corning experienced losses. Williams-Sonoma surged after a positive earnings report, while Dollar Tree faced losses. Celsius stock climbed after a price target raise. 3M was the biggest gainer in the Dow Jones industrials.
