With these factors in mind, I tested some of the most popular meditation apps to find out which ones could enhance joy and relaxation in daily life.

When testing the meditation apps, I prioritized apps that catered to various methods and offered guided meditations beyond what’s available for free on platforms like YouTube. All the apps mentioned in this guide are available on both Android and iOS platforms to ensure accessibility for users.

While there are plenty of free resources available, including podcasts, videos, and audio tracks, I focused on apps that offered unique features and benefits. From vast libraries of guided meditations to additional mindfulness activities like yoga routines, I evaluated the apps based on ease of use, design, and features that encouraged consistent practice.

At the end of the day, each app has its strengths. For those who prefer using apps or devices for meditation, here are some of the favorites from the review:
