Sony revealed April’s PlayStation Plus monthly games recently. The lineup includes Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, Skul: The Hero Slayer, and an Overwatch 2 skins-and-skips bundle. Subscribers on PS Plus’ Essential, Extra, and Premium tiers can claim the titles starting on Tuesday, April 2.
Immortals of Aveum (PS5) showed promise but didn’t perform well commercially due to its unique “first-person shooter with magic instead of guns” concept. Despite mixed reviews and tough competition, the game received praise for its cinematics and powerful magical attacks.
Minecraft Legends (PS5 / PS4) is a real-time action-strategy game that expands on the best-selling game of all time. In this spin-off, players team up to battle invading piglins from the Nether dimension in true blocky style. The game features both a single-player story mode and multiplayer for up to eight players.
Skul: The Hero Slayer (PS4) is a retro 2D side-scrolling roguelike where players control a skeleton with the ability to switch skulls and abilities with defeated enemies. Quick-switching abilities during combat is encouraged to maximize gameplay.
In addition to these games, PlayStation Plus subscribers can also get an exclusive Overwatch 2 Mega Bundle in April, which includes nine skins and five Battle Pass Tier Skips. The bundle is available for download from the PlayStation Store and will show up in-game immediately for both new and returning players.
