HP has revived its iconic Omnibook line of laptops with the introduction of the Omnibook X. Equipped with the Snapdragon X Elite CPU and up to 12 cores, this laptop delivers powerful performance for AI tasks. It also features a multitouch-enabled 14-inch display, dual speakers with HP audio boost technology, and Wi-Fi 7 integration. The Omnibook X will be released on June 18th, with a starting price of $1,200.
In addition to the Omnibook X, HP has also unveiled the business-focused EliteBook Ultra G1q. This laptop utilizes the Snapdragon X Elite CPU and offers an NPU capable of over 40 trillion operations per second. It includes premium endpoint security and features a 14-inch touch display. The EliteBook Ultra G1q starts at $1,700 and will be available on June 18th.
Lenovo’s contribution to the AI PC trend is the Yoga Slim 7x. Powered by the Snapdragon X Elite chip, this laptop boasts impressive specifications, including a display with 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and up to 500 nits of brightness. It is lighter than the MacBook Air and features dedicated fans for cooling. The Yoga Slim 7x is set to be released later this year, starting at $1,300.
Samsung is refreshing its Galaxy Book series with the AI-centric Galaxy Book4 Edge. This series offers various screen sizes, AMOLED display panels, Snapdragon X Elite processors, and a range of connectivity ports. The pro version provides enhanced specifications, including the most powerful Snapdragon X Elite variant and more RAM, available only in the 16-inch model. These laptops start at $1,350 and will hit stores on June 18th.
ASUS’s contribution to the AI PC market is the Vivobook S 15, an ultrathin laptop powered by the Snapdragon X Elite processor. It includes ASUS-developed AI-centric apps and a camera with an AiSense feature that automatically adjusts the screen brightness based on the user’s presence. The Vivobook S 15 also features a 15.6-inch OLED display, Harman Kardon-certified audio, and a 70 Wh battery with 18 hours of use per charge. Preorders are currently available, with customization options for storage and RAM.
Dell has gone all-in on AI, announcing five laptops with built-in AI capabilities. The refreshed XPS 13, Inspiron 14, and Inspiron 14 Plus all feature Snapdragon X processors and instant access to Microsoft Copilot. The Latitude 5455 and Latitude 7455, designed for enterprise customers, are powered by Snapdragon X Plus chips. The Latitude 7455 even offers an option for the flagship Snapdragon X Elite. Pricing and availability details will be announced later this year.

However, rumors suggest that other manufacturers are also preparing to release their own AI-enabled PCs in the near future.
