Recently, a former The Citadel basketball player, Daniel Eykyn, was announced as the Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach at Bishop England High School in Charleston, South Carolina. Eykyn brings over a decade of experience as an assistant coach for the Battling Bishops, where he has honed his skills and knowledge of the game.
During his time as a player for The Citadel, Eykyn was a consistent presence on the court, playing 105 games and averaging 2.4 points per game and 1.7 rebounds. His experience as a player will undoubtedly benefit him in his new role as head coach, allowing him to relate to his players on a deeper level.
