Sum 41 frontman Deryck Whibley recently made an announcement that sparked a lot of speculation among fans. Instead, Whibley revealed that he will be offering a free, signed book jacket to fans who pre-order his upcoming memoir, “Walking Disaster.” Fans can claim their signed book jacket by showing proof of purchase at Sum 41’s U.S. tour merch table, which kicks off in September.
Despite all the drama surrounding his announcement, Whibley joked about the challenges of making announcements in the music industry, especially when other artists are also making big announcements at the same time. He even mentioned receiving messages about joining the reunited Oasis, a scenario he found amusing.
