While Google has already offered a glimpse of what the Pixel 9 Pro will look like, it appears that the Pro XL model will have a similar design, but with a larger form factor. In fact, leaked images of the device reveal some specifications displayed on the screen. According to the leaked information, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will boast 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in one of its configurations. Additionally, the device is said to feature the Samsung Exynos 5400 modem, which supports satellite connectivity. This feature is rumored to be introduced with Android 15, and it is highly likely that this modem will be included in the other Pixel 9 models as well.
In terms of comparison, the Google Pixel 8 offers 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Pixel 8 Pro increases the RAM to 12GB and can be equipped with up to 1TB of storage. If the leak about the Pixel 9 Pro XL’s specifications is indeed accurate, it would mark the first time a phone in the Pixel series comes with an impressive 16GB of RAM.
