Microsoft is incorporating AI into more of its products and features. Copilot will soon be available in more parts of Teams, including the meeting chat and chat compose box. The AI will provide insights and information from the meeting chat and transcript. Copilot can also help rewrite a drafted message based on a custom prompt. An intelligent call recap feature is coming to Teams Premium and Copilot next quarter.
Microsoft is introducing features to enhance hybrid meetings. IntelliFrame will create an individual video feed for each person attending a Teams Rooms meeting. Automatic camera switching will use AI to present the best view of each person in a meeting room. Speaker recognition technology will improve the accuracy of transcripts and Copilot insights. This feature will be available in Teams Rooms as a preview in April.
