Temple Square is truly breathtaking in the spring. The gardeners diligently work to prepare the ground for General Conference, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere for all who attend. The importance of temple covenants was emphasized in a powerful message by President Henry B. Eyring. He stressed the need for all to qualify and become eligible to attend the temple, where we can be reminded of our eternal nature and desires to return to our heavenly home.

President Dallin H. Oaks conducted the session and announced the sustaining of new Church leaders, including 11 General Authority Seventies and a new Sunday School General Presidency. President Jeffrey R. Holland spoke about the power of prayer, emphasizing the need for committed discipleship. Elder Ulisses Soares encouraged us to have confidence in our covenants through Jesus Christ, especially in challenging times.

Sister J. Anette Dennis spoke about the deepening relationship with God through covenants, while Elder Alexander Dushku explained how testimonies come over time through divine guidance. Elder Jack N. Gerard highlighted the integrity shown by Jesus Christ and inspiring figures like Joseph and Hyrum Smith.

The session concluded with prayers offered and beautiful musical performances by The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. The messages shared served as a reminder to all to strive for a closer relationship with God through temple covenants.
