WhatsApp has recently introduced an update that allows users to pin up to three messages at the top of a chat for easy access to important information. Previously, users could only pin one message, but now they have the option to pin three messages. This feature enables users to save addresses, recipes, images, and polls for 24 hours, 7 days, or a month. The chat banner will display the pinned messages, with the most recent message appearing first when tapped on.
To pin a message, simply press on it, select “pin,” and choose the duration. You can also unpin messages before the set deadline. In addition to the updated pinning feature, WhatsApp has introduced voice messages that self-destruct for enhanced privacy and security. There are also rumors of a potential AirDrop-like file sharing feature being developed for future release.
